The Salesman Society is one of the largest orders of the Catholic Church that provides education and human development programmes for the poor, disadvantaged and abandoned children and youth across the world.
Don Bosco Networks Tanzania (DBNET), which runs the Salesian Society’s Development Programme in Tanzania, was founded in 1992 as a procurement office before transforming into a project office in 1996. In 2014, the office received a Charter and become autonomous from the Kenya office assuming its current name DBNET.
